How Lion trades

What Lion trades

Lion trades the long side only: it waits for a pullback of a liquid pair, enters by limit orders and adds levels if the price keeps falling. Each level has its own size, so the average entry price improves while the total exposure stays inside the risk per trade.

How it exits

The position closes with a take-profit on the return of the price to its moving average. If the pullback turns into a reversal, a stop-loss limits the loss of the whole grid; the bot then waits for the next setup instead of averaging without end.

AI entry filter

On selected timeframes a machine-learning model scores the entry conditions before the first order. The filter does not change the grid levels or the exits, it only skips entries whose forecast is below the configured thresholds.

Who it suits

Who Lion suits

Traders who want a long-only system on major pairs and prefer many small positive trades to rare big wins. Lion has the longest history among the EDVI strategies (since 2020) and the lowest average risk per entry.

What to keep in mind

Lion holds positions through pullbacks, so part of the deposit is tied up in open positions during drawdowns. Choose the risk multiplier so that a sequence of losing grids on several pairs is affordable.
