EDVI or the exchange's own bots

Every supported exchange offers its own grid and DCA bots for free. They are a fair option, and for a simple grid on one pair they are hard to beat. This page explains where a ready-made strategy earns its 40% fee.

In short

What the exchange gives

Free grid, DCA and TWAP bots inside Binance, Bybit, OKX and BingX, plus copy trading. You set the range, grids and investment yourself; the bot runs only on that exchange.

What EDVI gives

Strategies with entries, exits and risk rules developed over years, an AI entry filter, long and short, 40+ pairs, the same on every supported exchange, and statistics you can check every day.

The price difference

Exchange bots cost nothing beyond trading fees. EDVI takes 40% of the net profit of the month, so it only makes sense if the strategies earn more than a grid you would configure yourself.

The math at three deposit sizes

Illustration only: a hypothetical 3% net profit per month, EDVI fee 40%, competitor prices as checked on 4 November 2026. Your results will differ.

Deposit Profit at 3% EDVI fee exchange bots
$500 $15 $6 $0
$5,000 $150 $60 $0
$50,000 $1,500 $600 $0

With a subscription you pay the same amount whether the month is up or down; with a capped profit share the fee stops growing at the cap; with EDVI the fee grows with the profit and is zero without it.

Who each option fits

Choose the exchange's bots

You want a simple grid on one or two pairs, do not want any third-party service and are happy to set the range and grids yourself.

Choose EDVI

You want long and short strategies on dozens of pairs with risk rules you do not have to design, the same setup on four exchanges, and a track record you can check.

Questions

Can EDVI use the exchange's grid bot?

No. EDVI places its own orders through the API; the exchange's bots are separate tools. Do not run both on the same pairs of one account.

Is a ready-made strategy better than a grid?

Not always. A grid earns in a range and loses when the price leaves it. EDVI's strategies include trend-following and counter-trend logic, stop rules and short trading; whether that beats your grid depends on the market and your settings. Compare the public statistics with your grid's results.

Why pay 40% if the exchange bot is free?

Only if the strategies earn more than the free bot after the fee. EDVI publishes its results daily so that you can make that comparison before connecting.
